This is our FIRST SHOW in this area.
However, they have had them here
for about 25 years. 

We have had lots of requests to do some Shows
in Nashville so we're going to give it a try. 

THIS WILL SURELY BE A GREAT SHOW!
One that every Doll & Bear Artist,
Dealer and Collector will want to attend.

Take Exit 215 off I-40 onto
Briley Parkway toward Opryland.
Then take Exit 7 off of
Briley Pkwy onto Elm Hill Pike.
The hotel is right there.


Doll Show Hours: 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Admission: Adults $6.00, children 12 & under free
Girl & Boy Scouts in uniform free.

Food on premises and nearby.

You need to do this in advance as its always sold out.

the folks at the Holiday Inn handle it for you.

The Grand Ole Doll Club will host a Luncheon
on the day of our Show at the hotel.
Space is limited to the first Seventy-Five (75)
to sign up and send in their ticket money.

Those of you who have attended these Luncheons
know what a treat they are.
This year's will be held at 12:30 PM
so you have time to shop the Doll Show
prior to the Luncheon, and then go back to
the Show and acquire that doll you were
"thinking about."

The ticket cost is $60.00, which includes
the luncheon, a table favor and a souvenir.
The table favor and souvenir are not to be saneezed at,
as one club member put it.
There will also be Door Prizes given away.

The club plans to have an 8" Special
Alexander Doll for their 25th Anniversary.
There will only be Sixty (60) of these and
they will be sold at the Luncheon to Attendees
on a first come, first serve basis.
The club is NOT taking orders for these,
as you must be present at the Luncheon
in order to acquire one of them.

Noted Author and Screenplay Writer,
James Hilliard, will be joining us in
Nashville for this event.

He is the author of "Miss Baltimore",
"Sad Secrets" and the upcoming book
(October release date) entitled
"The Doll Show".

He wrote screenplays for
"Selling The Vatican"
and "Sad Secrets".

James will have copies of his new novel
"The Doll Show" available at our Doll Show
and will be autographing them for you.

Gloria will have a great selection of Dolls, Furniture, Tea Sets and Accessories.

Take a good look at her large collection of Annette Himstedt's.

She's also got some Gunzel, Plusczok, Lawton,
Marie Osmond, Barbies, Ginny's,
Madame Alexander's and others.

She will have an extremely
large selection at this show.

She has lots and lots to choose from.

even more Dolls. They're just everywhere, even
stored at my house.

Sidney will have Vintage Barbie's as well
as other Vintage Dolls & Clothes.

Since she is a Barbie Collector herself,
there is no telling what she may have
on her tables for sale.

She has taken quite a few tables and
floor space for her display so you'll
certainly want to browse through it.

Maxine Spaulding

Maxine will be bringing a variety of Dolls and accessories
to the Show.

She'll have Antique Dolls, Alexander's,
1950's Ideal, Doll clothes and toys.

You'll have to browse through her tables
as there's no telling what may be tucked
away in there.

Clara has Modern Dolls, Doll Clothes
and related items.

That could be an assortment of
some great things to add to your
Doll collection.

I'm sure you'll want to take a peek

Ralph Parr

Ralph, "The Barbie Man", will be here with lots and lots of beautiful Barbie Dolls.

He'll have some of the newest
on the market
and some that may be
a year or two old.
He keeps up with the very latest.

His display usually runs about forty feet long, stacked about five rows high.
He is the "source" for new Barbie's.

If you collect Barbie, then you'll want
to pay Ralph a visit at the Show.

He is a Barbie Collector himself and keeps
up with all the latest Barbie info and Dolls.

Robyn & Ron Martin

Robyn and Ron will be bringing their very large
selection of Antique Dolls, Vintage Dolls and accessories.

They have a lot of very neat items to use
in conjunction with displaying your Dolls
which really accent them and show them off.

The variety and quality of their Dolls
are all top drawer.
You can buy from
them and be assured you're getting
great merchandise.

You'll have to brownse through their
extensive booth of treasures. You just don't know
what they have tucked away.

I'm sure they have something
there for you to add to your
Doll or Bear collection.

They have one of the most interesting and unique booths at a show.

Ann will be bringing some fine
Antique German and French Dolls.
So, if you collect antique dolls,
you'll want to visit with Ann.

She will also have a variety of
Vintage American Dolls.
All of this sounds real interesting,
especially for antique & vintage
doll collector's.

Susan will have a collection of Antique Dolls
at the Show. She will also have some miniature
items suitable for Doll Houses.

So, you have two great collections to brownse
when you stop by to visit with her.

Jane has a shop and sells a large variety of Dolls.

She has Artist Dolls, Vogue, Madame Alexander
and many more brands.

We'll just have to see what she packs up and
brings to the show.

Elaine will be bringing her lovely

Rocky Bottom Creations
of Bears and other Critters.
All of these are created and made by Elaine.

She may bring a few manufactured Bears and Animals as well.

Her items are always so lovely,
cuddly and attractive.

You'll certainly want to take a peek at her creations.

Gary will be bringing a variety of manufactured
Dolls, Bears and accessories.

You just don't know what he's going to load up

wife Elaine with all of her Bear and

Peggy will be back in Nashville with
a great selection of Antique and
Vintage Compo's,Alexander's, Ideal
and Mattel Dolls.

Who knows, by show time she

and have them tucked amongst this list.

Peggy always has some great Dolls.

Rosemary will have a variety of
Collectible Dolls. She'll also have
some Madame Alexander's, Ginny's,
Moffie's and some Doll clothes.

outfit that just goes with your
personal collection.

Rita will be joining us from Ohio
with a large variety of items,
something for quite a few different
Collectors, covering a broad spectrum.

She will have a variety of Dolls
from the 1940's to the 1960's,
doll accessories, doll clothing,
and some Paper Dolls.

You'll cetainly want to check out her items
as there's no telling what treasure may be
tucked away amongst them.

Carol will be joining us from Virginia.
She has a great selection of

her Mother's Doll Collection.

The collection is years of acquiring
Madame Alexander Dolls
and China Dolls.

That's a very broad base so you

and unique Danish Pixie Dolls.
These are so cute and adorable
that everybody should own at
least one of them.

her tables.

Allison makes those very cute,
realistic Dolls known as Reborn's.

She'll be bringing some of her latest
creations who are looking for a loving
home with lots of TLC.

You'll need to stop and visit with
these Babies. Be sure to pick one up
and hold it. You'll instantly fall in love
and take one home with you.
