Fine Art Dolls and One Of A Kind creations.

This is where you will want to be August 6, 7 & 8, 2010. The Crowne Plaza Tennis & Golf Resort Staff knows how to treat you with true Southern hospitality and comfort. We have stayed here several times and you'll get the best nights sleep you've ever had at a hotel. The food is just out of this world. The entire place resonates with Southern Tradition and Charm. Just look at the charming front entrance.

We'll have the giant Sales Room in the newly constructed Exposition Center, which is more like a very large Ballroom. Its carpeted, got chandeliers, wall sconces, covered patio and all the very nice stuff. I don't know why they call it the Exposition Center since most of those are just giant square steel structures. This isn't.

We will have a great variety of One-Of-A-Kind Doll Artists and
Fine Art Doll Artists, so come visit them in our special
 "Show Within A Show" in the IMAGINARIUM FAIRE area. 

There will be a number of Baby Artists as well as Reborn Artists at this Event.
 
There is never a shortage of Antique & Vintage Dolls at our Shows. Our quality Antique and Vintage Dealers always have a very interesting selection on hand.

Barbie, Marie Osmond, Robert Tonner, Madame Akexander, Vogue, Charisma, Kish, Middleton, Guenzel, Himstedt, Lawton, Wilde Imagination, and all the other name brands are well represented at our Events with our great Dealers.

This is a Collector's Show, not a Trade Show.
We have a large variety of Doll & Bear Dealers,
that you do not see at the larger Shows as the
fees are too costly for them to participate. We
also have a great following of Artists who do
our Shows so they can connect with their fans.

Learn the professional techniques of how to paint reborns with Genesis Heat Set Paints to create your own amazingly realistic reborn baby. Work along with Joy Joco as she demonstrates techniques on a brand new doll kit.

You will make an outfit for a Fashion Doll, with no sewing involved.
All materials will be provided but you must bring scissors.

As your favorite Doll travels to the South Pacific Islands,
she'll want the native attire, so come have some fun and
enjoy making her a Hula outfit.

Workshop is limited to 15 Attendees.
It will last about 90 minutes.

"Sculpting A Child's Head" with Maryanne Oldenburg

Saturday 11:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Participants will create a foil skull and a head of a child in
polymer clay. Working from pictures of a young child,
they will learn proper placement of features,
expressions, and proportions using a template
and written instructions.

Left is what you will be working from.

Provided: Polymer clay, foil, a special sculpting tool, template layout, written instructions and photos of child.

Students must bring: Sculpting tools of their choice, a double=pointed dividers, a small filbert paintbrush.

Maximum of 12 students
Must have a minimum of 6

Have you ever been frustrated not to be able to create the exact hairstyle you want for your doll? I will teach you how to make a custom fit realistic, removable mohair wig for any type of doll, whether it is polymer, fabric, paper clay or porcelain. The wig will be built on a cap, which will be a custom fit for your creation, then removed and styled the way you wish. The advantage of this is you can finish your piece without the hair getting in the way. I will also show basic hair styling and cutting tips.

This Workshop will have limited seating.

Jewelry Making For Dolls
with Tammy Henkel

Sunday 10:00 - 11:30 AM

Owner/Designer, Tammy Henkel, of "Beautiful Spirits" handmade beaded jewelry will teach a basic jewelry making class for dolls. Mediums such as beads, wire, cord, yarn and trinkets are perfect to make a jewelry set for your doll. Students are welcome to make jewelry for themselves if they choose. The more of your favorite beads you bring the more you can make. Attendees should have a complete doll jewelry set when finished (necklace, bracelet and earrings).

Students should bring the doll (Barbie to Baby Dolls) the jewelry is for or at least a photo to gage sizing. Bring some favorite beads you have selected for the project to match your dolls outfit and any other supplies you have if you have attempted making jewelry before. Please bring a hand towel to work on to keep control of your beads and pliers if you have them. Feel free to bring unfinished projects for help. The rest will be supplied to you - cord, fishing line, wire, yarn, filler beads, pliers etc.
