We have shopped around and found the best deals for each Show date, in a reasonable hotel, close to the Venue where we are having the Show or EXPO.

PLEASE BOOK YOUR ROOMS EARLY as most of these special rates expire thirty dates prior to the Show date. If something comes up, you can always cancel, usually up until the date of arrival.  If there are several events in a city, rates go up and rooms get scarce. All prices below are the DOLL & BEAR SHOW RATE for your room. All local applicable taxes are extra. 

Please patronize these fine Hotels and be sure and tell them you're with the Knight's DOLL & BEAR SHOW and want their SPECIAL RATE. We usually only reserve 20 to 25 rooms so BOOK EARLY. Our room blocks have been selling out and they will not expand it after we sell the original block.

DOLL & BEAR EXPO 2008

DOLL & BEAR EXPO DATES: October 24, 25 & 26
ROOM DATES: October 24 & 25

We will be staying at the newly remodeled Live Oaks (238 rooms) Tower of the Springmaid Beach Resort & Conference Center located at 3200 South Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach.

This is where we will hold our DOLL & BEAR EXPO 2008 and this is the closest rooms to the Exhibit Hall and has easy access to the Pier. That will be a very nice relaxing stroll.



The Resort is situated on 27 acres with nearly 500 rooms, 6 pools (we have an indoor heated pool), 2 Lazy Rivers, Fishing Pier with restaurant (the breakfast and the sandwiches etc. here were excellent and very tasty), fitness center, miniature golf, and there's plenty of shopping and eating spots nearby. There's also an Art Museum on the next corner in a restored Beach Cottage. 

The very  famous Marlin's Restaurant is on site. I've been told by several folks who have stayed here that one reason they do it is because the food is just fabulous. They say the breakfast buffet and lunch buffet are just out of this world. We have now visited here and what we were told was true, the food was great at Marlin's and at the Pier Cafe. We will be served some of this great food at our Friday night Banquet, our Saturday night Party and our Sunday morning Buffet, as well as our Celebrity Luncheons and Breakfasts.

Guest rooms will have two Queen size beds, full size refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, TV, Internet access and a balcony with an ocean view. The Llive Oaks was completely remodeled in 2006. They take great care of this property. We stayed here for 3 nights the last weekend of February, which was also the first weekend of March. It is real nice and very clean. A bargain considering what you get for the money. 

YOU MUST BOOK YOUR ROOM PRIOR TO TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23, 2008. HOWEVER, DO NOT WAIT, THEY MAY FILL UP PRIOR TO THAT DATE.

We blocked some rooms for Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, so plan to make this trip a mini vacation. Come relax and enjoy the ocean. If you like to fish, you can use the pier for free while staying here. The view at night, from the end of the pier, looking back to shore is breathtaking. Take a stroll and take a look.  We will be here from Wednesday until Monday. Join us.
